Forty Hours Devotion Continues
Our Annual Forty Hours Devotion continues Monday (Nov. 24) and Tuesday (Nov. 25). Fr. John Donia, who regularly celebrates the 5 PM Mass on Sunday, is our homilist for the Eucharistic devotion at 7 PM each day. Please consider joining us for this holy devotion.

Msgr. Diamond's Advent Series Starts Dec. 4 and the Focus Will Be the Gospel of John
Msgr. Diamond's annual lecture series during Advent will begin Thursday, Dec. 4 at 7 PM in Conahan Hall.
 This year's topic is the Gospel of John, its structure and the unique position it holds in Sacred Scripture. Please consider coming. 
This session and those on Dec. 11 and 18 will last one hour; please bring a Bible.
Junior CYO Christmas
Caroling & Bake Sale

Our Junior CYO group will combine Christmas Caroling with a bake sale after the 5 PM Mass on Dec. 20 and after the 11:30 AM Mass Dec. 21. Our young people will provide the singing  materials, just bring your voices to share some holiday cheer with our community (this is for kids and parents). There will be a baked goods sale at the same time to raise money for CYO. Please click on the link below to sign up for baked goods. Dec. 2: Women's Advent Evening of Prayer 
During the first week of Advent all women are invited to an evening of prayer, reflection and sharing on Tueday, Dec. 2 at 7 PM in Conahan Hall. The presenter will be Sr. Joanne Bauer, SBS; light refreshments will be served. To register, contact Marie McGuigan at mmcguigan@gmail.com or 215-884-4022.
Dec. 7: Youth Choir Mass
The next Youth Choir Mass is at 9:30 AM Dec. 7. Rehearsals take place Nov. 23 and Dec. 7  from 8:45-9:15 AM. Children’s Christmas Choir rehearsals continue on Sundays in November and December. The children’s choir will sing at the 4 PM Mass on Christmas Eve.
Dec. 7: Santa Is Coming
Santa will be at Conahan Hall on Sunday, Dec. 7 from 12:30 to 2:30 PM. If you are able to donate a toy for the raffle, please drop it off at the Rectory. We need toys for the 3-7 and 8-12 age groups.

Christmas Eve Children's Liturgy: Need
K-8th Graders to Read and for Processions

For the Christmas Eve Children’s Liturgy Dec. 24 at 4 PM we welcome children in grades K through 8 as participants. We need children to be readers and to take part in two processions. There will be one mandatory practice on Dec. 21 at 1 PM for readers and 2 PM for those in the processions. For planning  purposes please call Marie McGuigan at 215-884-4022 if your children will be participating as readers or in the procession. We are also looking for a family who would want their baby to have the privilege of being baby Jesus.

Adult Faith Formation

The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA) / Adult Faith Formation Program at Immaculate Conception welcomes referrals from parishioners who know someone who may be interested in RCIA. If you have an interest or know someone who is, please contact Marie McGuigan at 215-884-4022 or mmcguigan250@gmail.com.
Making Meals for Aid for Friends, Hospice
Meals are needed for Aid for Friends as well as St. John's Hospice. Margaret Curran, the chair of the Corporal Works of Mercy Committee, is coordinating this effort with Marie McGuigan. If you can make meals or deliver the St. John's Hospice Casseroles on the third Monday of the month at 8:30 AM please contact Marie at the rectory or mmcguigan250@gmail.com

Need a Ride to Church or Appointment?
H.O.P.E.: If you or someone you know needs a ride to Church, appointments, etc., our Helping Other People in Emergencies (H.O.P.E.) drivers are ready and willing to help. The week of Nov. 23, call Wendy Stanton at 215-885-2531. The week of Nov. 30, call Elise Mulvaney at 215-884-0749.
 

Pray the Rosary Before Mass Mon.-Sat.
The Rosary is prayed before the 8 AM daily Mass in St. Mary's Chapel Monday-Saturday starting at 7:40. Morning Prayer takes place after each daily Mass.
Stucco Restoration Project Blog
The Immaculate Conception BVM Stucco Restoration Project blog debuted in June 2013 to enable parishioners and friends in the community to track the project's progress. In addition to enhancing the beauty of the church with fresh surfaces on the cement walls, the project included new gutters and downspouts as well as roof repairs.
