Welcome to the Church of the Immaculate Conception. We are a Roman Catholic parish in Jenkintown, Pennsylvania within the Archdiocese of Philadelphia.

Alleluia! Alleluia!! Alleluia!!! Resurexit sicut dixit! He has risen as he said.  Our Lenten journey has concluded with the glorious promise fulfilled. Amid the incense and flowers and bells and soul-stirring lyrics to the Easter hymns, there is an ominous yet comforting note struck at the very end of the excerpt from John’s gospel. For they did not yet understand the scripture that he had to rise from the dead. Then the disciples returned home. (20:9-10) There stood Mary Magdalene, Simon Peter and the Beloved Disciple looking at the empty tomb and they did not understand.
