  • Thursday (March 5): Msgr. Diamond's Lenten Scripture Series begins at 7 PM in Conahan Hall and continues March 12, 19 & 26 (Gospel of John)

Parish Hosting World Day of Prayer March 6 
Immaculate Conception is hosting a World Day of Prayer event on Friday, March 6 at noon in the Church. There will be a luncheon at 1 PM in Conahan Hall. Msgr. Diamond will preach.

Interested in Volleyball?Painting Fun on April 10

 
  • CYO track and field begins this week. Click on the link below for complete information. All practices for the week of March 1 will be held in the school building parking lot.

Natural Procreative Technology Presentation
Dr. Monique Ruberu, a local physician who trained at the Pope Paul VI Institute for the Study of Human Reproduction, will lead a presentation on NaPro (natural procreative) Technology on March 25 at 7 PM in Conahan Hall. 
There will be testimonials from local couples and a Q&A session with Dr. Ruberu. For additional information, call 215-884-2922.

Share Your Views With the Synod of Bishops 
All parishioners are invited to have a consulting role in the Oct. 4-25 Synod of Bishops in Rome, where the topic will be "The Vocation and Mission of the Family in the Church and Contemporary World." Comments on the preparatory document "Relatio Synod" can be made electronically by clicking on the link below titled Responding to Questions Put Forth by the Holy See. Comments can also be mailed to Rev. Dennis Gill, Archdiocese of Philadelphia, 222 N. 17th St., Philadelphia, PA 19103-1299, by printing out the form via the link. Deadline is March 9.

Youth Choir Mass Schedule
Below is the schedule for Youth Choir Masses. All children of the parish are welcome to sing in the choir.
  • April 12 at 9:30 AM, with practices March 15, March 22, March 29 and April 12 from 8:45 to 9:15 AM
  • May 17 at 9:30 AM, with practices April 26, May 3 and May 17 from 8:45 to 9:15 AM

Need a Ride to Church or Appointment?
H.O.P.E.: If you or someone you know needs a ride to Church, appointments, etc., our Helping Other People in Emergencies (H.O.P.E.) drivers are ready and willing to help. The week of March 1 call Ginny Conway at 215-572-0450. The week of March 8 call Luci Harp at 215-884-3805.
 
  

Pray the Rosary Before Mass Mon.-Sat.
The Rosary is prayed before the 8 AM daily Mass Monday-Saturday starting at 7:40. Morning Prayer takes place after each daily Mass.
Stucco Restoration Project Blog
Our Stucco Restoration Project blog tracked a project -- begun in June 2013 -- that enhanced the beauty of our Church with fresh surfaces on the cement walls. The improvements also included new gutters and downspouts as well as roof repairs. Click on the image at left or the subhead above to view the blog. 
 About Immaculate Conception...
Baptisms
The Sacrament of Baptisim is administered on the 2nd and 4th Sunday of the month; arrangements need to be made in advance at the rectory. New parents are required to attend Baptism preparation class (held 1st Wednesday of the month) and expectant parents are most welcome at these classes.
 
Marriages
Arrangements for weddings must be made at the rectory at least six months before the date selected.
 
New Parishioners
To register at our parish, please visit the rectory office any weekday between 9 AM and 4 PM.

Send a note to iccbulletin604@gmail.com if you wish to receive weekly email updates from the parish.
 
When There Is Serious Illness
Please call the rectory if there is an illness emergency in your family -- but please do not wait until the person you are calling about is unconscious or in imminent danger of dying. Parishioners will be placed on the Communion Call List upon request. Notify the rectory when there is serious sickness in your family or when someone in your family is admitted to the hospital.
