White Ribbons Against Pornography Week
White Ribbons Against Pornography Week (WRAP) was established in 1987 to educate old and young alike to promote chaste thinking and living and to avoid the temptations of pornography. WRAP week creates a useful opportunity to raise the devastating effects of pornography on human dignity, marriages and family life, and to call all Christians to renewed lives of chastity, learning and living virtuous lives. This year’s WRAP week begins Sunday, Oct. 26 and concludes Saturday, Nov. 1. The Immaculate Conception BVM Stucco Restoration Project blog debuted in June 2013 to enable parishioners and friends in the community to track the project's progress. In addition to enhancing the beauty of the church with fresh surfaces on the cement walls, the project included new gutters and downspouts as well as roof repairs. Click on the image at left or the subhead above to view the blog.
