Our beautiful Stations of the Cross were crafted by the German-born sculptor Joseph Sibbel, considered one of the most important religious sculptures of American religious statuary. The Stations were fashioned in New York at his studio. Look for his signature on the bottom right corner of the first station.
The Stations needed something more. They were like beautiful pictures without a frame. The frame guides the viewer's eye to the subject, adding depth and context.

We were fortunate enough to enlist the services of skilled craftsman, Danny Hoa, a member of Resurrection of Our Lord parish. Danny, an artist, spent considerable time on the frame's form and composition. He crafted the custom moldings, pouring plaster into each precise measurement for each individual station.
The new frames look as if they had always been a part of the Stations, complementing the beauty of our church's interior.
If you are interesting in supporting the project, please contact the church office.
As always, thank you for your love and support of our beautiful parish.
